12 Year Saga Ends with No Indictment for Foreign Minister Lieberman

After a 12 year investigation which involved allegations of money-laundering, fraud, and breach of trust, on suspicion he received millions of dollars from international tycoons like  through foreign companies while he was serving in public positions,  State Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein closed the case and dropped all charges against Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman.

The AG however decided to indict him for breach of public trust in a 2008 case involving obstruction of justice by former ambassador to Belarus Ze’ev Ben-Aryeh.

LIeberman is expected to respond and announce his future moves at 8PM Israel time.
