Over Half of Israelis Place Blame of Fractured Left-Center Bloc on Party Leaders

A majority of the Israeli public place the faliure of uniting the left-center bloc on the three leaders respectfully, a new poll conducted by Shiluv Millward Brown for Channel 2 evening news found. 9% plce the blame on Shelley Yechimovich, 14 % on Livni and 3% on Yair Lapid, while 52% say all of the three leaders to the same extent.

The poll also found 64% of Israeli voters believe Amir Peretz left Labor party to join Livni for personal reasons, while only 14% believe it was based on Ideological differences.
