Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in "excellent" health after passing his annual physical recently, according to a statement released by the Prime Minister's Office on Thursday.
The check-up, performed by his personal physician Zvi Herman-Berkowitz, included blood tests and a stress test.
Blood tests revealed that the prime minister's sugar and cholesterol are within normal levels, as is his complete blood count, according to the comprehensive report issued by Herman-Berkowitz:
"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has undergone routine annual medical tests under the supervision of his personal physician, Dr. Zvi Herman Berkowitz:
The blood tests were completely normal, including for sugar, cholesterol and fats.
The stress test showed the Prime Minister to be in good physical condition without any problems whatsoever regarding heart and lung functions.
The Prime Minister's blood pressure is checked frequently and stands at 120/80, with light medication.
The Prime Minister works out – including walking and weight-lifting – several times a week.
Dr. Berkowitz has issued recommendations regarding a healthy diet.
Based on the foregoing, Dr. Berkowitz has defined the Prime Minister's state of health to be excellent."
