(Jpost).As of Wednesday night, Binyamin Netanyahu assumed an additional role to that of Israel's Prime Minister.The birth of a baby boy to his daughter, Noa Netanyahu-Roth, means that at the age of 59, the PM has become a grandfather for the first time.
Noa and Daniel Roth, who have been married for three years, celebrated on Wednesday night after Noa gave birth to their first child late on in the evening.
Noa, Netanyahu's only daughter, was born to his first wife, Micki Weizman.
Mother Noa and her son are reported to be in good health. While the prime minister was unable to visit his new grandson Thursday morning due to government discussions concerning the proposed budget cut, he is reported to have spoken to his daughter over the phone after the birth and at the time of going to press, it was expected that the PM would pay the newest member of the Netanyahu family a visit on Thursday evening.
