Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday visited Israel's nuclear reactor in Dimona, which the Islamic republic recently threatened to attack.
Netanyahu was briefed by the reactor's chief, Maj.-Gen. (retired) Udi Adam, and talked with the site's managers about the political and security challenges facing Israel.

The Prime Minister's Office said Netanyahu was briefed "on the various scientific projects advanced by reactor employees." The PM was said to "express his deep appreciation for employees at the facility for their contribution to the State of Israel's strength and security."
The visit marked Netanyahu's first tour at the nuclear facility since taking office. According to the PM's Office, the visit was undertaken at the initiative of Israel's Atomic Energy Commission's director general and the Dimona reactor's director
