(Haaretz).Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent a message on Thursday to Hamas saying he would not allow 'dangerous' terrorists freed in the Shalit prisoner exchange deal to return to the West Bank and that no further flexibility will be given to the team negotiating the deal.
Sources in the Prime Minister's Office said Thursday that Netanyahu's position is final. "The Prime Minister insists that very dangerous terrorists, the ones with blood on their hands, will not be released to places in which they might endanger the lives of Israeli citizens," the sources said.
During the deliberations, Netanyahu said that the government will continue to make every effort to bring Shalit home safe and sound, as long as it does not compromise Israel's security interests.
