Iran's major newspapers attacked U.S. President Barack Obama after he met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Kayhan, which is close to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, stated that Obama submitted to Netanyahu when he called Iran a global threat, not only a threat to Israel, and even hinted that he would comply with Israel's demand to restrict talks with Iran.
According to the paper, Iran did not receive a proposals package from Obama's staff on the nuclear issue, and it will present its own proposals to the 5+1, not to Obama, in the near future.
Jomhouri-e Eslami stated that the Netanyahu-Obama meeting exposed Obama's absolute dedication to Israel as a Jewish state, and added that it would be naïve to expect change in U.S. policy in the region.
