Chance for Unity! Barak says will continue to meet with Netanyahu for coalition talks
A meeting between Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu and Labor Chairman Ehud Barak on Israel's materializing coalition ended late Sunday evening.
Barak said their discussion had centered on the challenges Israel faces on the "political, security, and economic fronts". He said they would continue to meet over the next few days.
Prime Minister designate Benjamin Netanyahu said after meeting with Labor Chairman Ehud Barak that "Israel stands before a test, with a plethora of challenges we have not known or faced for dozens of years."
He added, "Israel is not my or anyone's private business, and we need to ensure its security. We decided we would continue to speak."
