A Thursday meeting between Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu and Yisrael Beiteinu Avigdor Lieberman resulted in general agreements on a number of topics, as well as a decision to continue discussions.
The two party leaders discussed issues of security and finance, in particular the 2009 and 2010 budget. The issue of ministerial posts is not meant to constitute an obstacle, the parties said.
