At a Likud faction meeting, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that media publications of his political stance shouldn't be relied upon. Netanyahu noted that he was still shaping his stance on the issue but stressed that "Ariel would be a part of the state of Israel in any agreement."
"Don't rely on newspapers. Any settlements we make, if we make them, depend on the securities of the lands we receive. In light of the regional earthquake, no one can tell us what will stand before us on the other side of the border tomorrow".
