Likud: Shame Livni is not more statesmanlike in opposition

Likud members criticized the strongly worded speech given by Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni which slammed Benjamin Netanyahu's performance as prime minister.

"We are sorry that Livni's words are once again full of double-meanings. She expresses her sorrow about Israel's de-legitimization by its enemies and then blames Netanyahu for that same de-legitimization. It is sad that Livni does not behave in a more statesmanlike manner, as Netanyahu did as chairman of the opposition, defending Israel against those who slandered it around the world without playing any political games," they said.
