The Knesset plenum on Tuesday in the morning after a Knesset session that took all night, approved on second and third reading Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz's proposal to pass a biennial budget for 2009 and 2010. 63 MKs voted in favor while only 27 opposed the bill.
The Knesset approved having the budget law amended and extending the timetable for the approval of the yearly budget from 45 days to 106 days.
