Opposition leader and Kadima Chairwoman Tzipi Livni on Wednesday slammed the approved budget, and criticized Netanyahu for losing control of the negotiations and bowing to pressure to pass the budget.
"Bibi [Netanyahu] has lost control of the brakes," she said. "What's worse, is that there is nobody sitting at the wheel."
"The citizens of Israel were prepared to give of their own pocket had they known that the goal was to create jobs and fight unemployment," she added. "But the public did not agree to having money taken from the pockets just so this government could survive.
The Likud didn't remain silence upon the harsh criticism and fired back: "Livni,Bar-on and the heads of kadima that left a charred land and economy off course are the last that can exhort us, and will take a good few years to repair their formidable damage".
Whats ironic is that this budget is Approved by the current Government a year late after the previous Kadima administration failed to pass it by in the knesset, and while most of the expected cuts were dismissed, and a agreement was reached between the histadrut and a majority of the cabinet approved it with praise to the Prime minister that handled the Situation well and respectful, Livni continues to sticks her head in the earth and undermines the effort done by the current administration to revive the economy under the current situation and world crisis.
