Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed his confrontation with Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi, during Wednesday's cabinet meeting over the proposed cutbacks for officers' pensions. Ashkenazi has since apologized to the prime minister.
"I believe he spoke from the heart, not out of any malicious intent. He was voicing a genuine problem for the military," Netanyahu said
