Netanyahu Draws Sketch of The Old City of Jerusalem

PM Benjamin Netanyahu tweets this morning, a personal arts work by the PM during his flight to Prague, drawing a sketch of the old city of Jerusalem, the Tower of David and an Israeli flag flying on top, with the caption: Jerusalem Forever.

Israel is celebrating today the reunification of Jerusalem in the 1967 Six Day War, 45 years ago.

The government will hold a special session Sunday at Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem, which was the site of some of the Six Day War’s fiercest battles and where 36 paratroopers died. During the session the government will vote on a series of motions aimed to develop Jerusalem in terms of tourism, economy and more.

Later in the evening, Netanyahu will attend the Merkaz Harav Kook main Jerusalem Day celebration.
