(Globes).The cabinet approved at today's meeting a proposal by Minister of Finance Yuval Steinitz to make a 5% cut in the salaries of the prime minister, ministers, and deputy ministers.
The pay cut will reduce Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's gross monthly salary to NIS 35,764, ministers' salaries to NIS 31,836, and deputy ministers' salaries to NIS 29,204 - less than the NIS 30,742 salary of an MK.
