Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech "combined the Jewish people's right to a Jewish state in Israel with Israel's aspirations for peace".
"Netanyahu opened the door to the Palestinians and the Arab nations to begin peace talks, and we hope the other side will promote its offer for the renewal of negotiations. The prime minister has described in his speech the balance between our aspirations for peace and the aspiration for security," he said
