Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech was "an important speech that opens a pathway to serious negotiations on two states for two peoples".
"This is an important step in the right direction. Netanyahu displayed seriousness, responsibility, and courage as well as discretion and eyes that are open to a complex reality," he said.
