Netanyahu lands in U.S. for talks with Obama on Mideast peace

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived on Sunday in Washington, where he is scheduled to meet with U.S. President Barack Obama and propose that joint teams draft a new road map for the Palestinian peace process and a new strategy on Iran.

Netanyahu will meet later Sunday with Israel's envoy to the U.S., Sallai Meridor, and with leaders of the AIPAC lobby.
